Hauss Hejny has looked like a star in his short time at Colorado State. But after leaving the BYU game with a hamstring injury in the first half on Saturday night, the question on everyone’s mind right now is how long will the dynamic play-maker be out?

Following the 41-23 loss to the 11th-ranked Cougars, CSU head coach Jim Mora told the media that removing Hejny from the game was not an instance of the staff just being extra cautious.

“If a guy is cleared to play, we play him,” Mora said. “Somebody asked me on the radio if we were saving our players. No, we don’t save our players. We try to win every down.”
