Jeff Heuerman's first interview with Denver media

New Broncos tight end Jeff Huerman spent a few minutes being introduced to the Denver media via conference call.

“went through some adversity at the end of my career there but its all about how you overcome it. My hockey background definitely contributes to my success in football.”

On what type of tight end he is

“ill be the best tight end I can be and be any type of tight end they want me to be.”

On foot ailment in 2014

“Im feeling great, I went back to Indianapolis for a medical re-check on my foot and my ankle and im completely healthy, Im ready to go.”

Potentially catching passes from Peyton manning

“I couldn’t be more excited. I cant wait to play and to learn from one of the best to ever play the game of football. I couldn’t be more excited to get in there and start learning and start contributing to help this team.”

What he models his game after

“Im the type of tight end that like to do it all. I pride myself on being a well rounded tight end.

Being limited by system at Ohio State.

“Good things happen to good people, and thats the situation here. we had a lot of good things happen at ohio state. Yeah I didn’t catch as many footballs as I might’ve wanted to but we won a national championship, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
