Inside the Avs' Locker Room: Compher on what he learned

SUNRISE, Fla. – Greetings from sunny Sunrise, where the locals here are actually complaining a bit about the temperatures the last few days – high 50s, low 60s.

Avs went through their paces here at the BB&T Center, where they’ll play the 11-10-5 Florida Panthers. The Avs have a great top line, obviously, but so do the Panthers, with Jonathan Huberdeau, Aleksander Barkov and Mike Hoffman. All three have been point-a-game or better this year so far. Avs need to bring their ‘A’ game defensively, after allowing six the other night.

Philipp Grubauer gets the start in net for the Avs. No other changes to the lineup from the last game.

I am going to post some audio from the room this morning, with talks from Nikita Zadorov and J.T. Compher.
