Injury Report: Demaryius Thomas probable for an AFC West showdown

With all the players listed on this week’s injury report, one name stands out: Demaryius Thomas. No. 88 injured his neck in last week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings after a questionable hit from safety Harrison Smith. Denver’s star wide out was a full practice participant on Sunday and is listed as probable for the 2:25 p.m. MDT start time against division rival Oakland Raiders.

Thomas sits a top of a long list of probable and questionable players such as: Kick returner Omar Bolden and guard Evan Mathis. Both players are expected to suit up Sunday in the black hole of Oakland.

Two players are listed as out Sunday: Offensive lineman Ty Sambrailo and wide receiver Cody Latimer. Sambrailo has been dealing with a shoulder problem since the Sunday night win at Detroit and will give his spot to Ryan Harris for the second straight Sunday. Latimer will also be watching from the sidelines as he nurses and injured groin suffered last Sunday against the Vikings.

Other players listed on the injury report are: Defensive end DeMarcus Ware, Tight end Owen Daniels and all-time great quarterback Peyton Manning, all with “not football related” ailments.

This Sunday’s matchup in Oakland will have the look of a classic AFC West rivalry game as the Broncos travel to O.co Coliseum to try for a 14^th straight AFC West road victory, extending their already impressive NFL record.
