Former Nugget Mutombo elected to Hall of fame

Mutombo spent his first five seasons of his career in a Nuggets uniform and will always be remembered as a part of the greatest moment in Nuggets playoff history when the eighth seeded Nuggets upset George Karl’s top seeded Sonics.

In his 19 seasons, “Mt. Mutombo” averaged 9.8 points per game, 10.3 rebounds per game and 2.8 blocks per game.
