Adrian Robinson Jr. has passed away at the young age of 25. This, according to his agency Symmetry, who posted of his death on Facebook Sunday morning.

“It deeply saddens all of us to share with you that Adrian Robinson Jr. passed away last night at the age of 25. Adrian was a beloved father, son, brother, friend and teammate. We ask that you please respect his family’s privacy during this difficult time, and especially keep his daughter Avery Marie in your prayers. Thank you for all of your support and consideration.”

Robinson played his college football at Temple, earning All-MAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2009, his sophomore season. In 2010 and 2011, he was named first-team All-MAC with 18 tackles for a loss and 3.5 sacks during those seasons.

He was then an undrafted free agent signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2012 before being traded the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013. Robinson was released by Philly a week later, but then picked up by the Denver Broncos on September 1, 2013. He remained on the Broncos until October 15, 2013. Both the San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins subsequently signed Robinson in 2013 and he was ultimately released by Washington in August 2014.

Adrian Robinson Jr. was only 25 at the time of his death, Sunday.

Sadly, this was Robinson’s final Tweet on Wednesday:

UPDATE 5/18:
