The Nuggets have had the same basic uniform scheme since switching to the baby blue and gold when the team drafted Carmelo Anthony in 2003. Today in a series of proposed uniform changes league wide, the Nuggets name came up multiple times.

Denver will be among seven teams making changes to their basic home and road uniforms.

We have found the new design via twitter from user @sportslogosnet. Here are the updated home and road uniforms.

This seems more of just an update to their current uniforms compared to a “New Identity” the other teams are doing. Understanding these are just mock ups, these changes are a bit on the underwhelming side. They could’ve used this to finally go with an all Denver skyline theme to the rest of the uniforms to match their gold alternates. The Nuggets do not appear on the “Alternate 1” change list but will also be making a slight update to the Gold uniforms.

Before you get too excited, THESE uniforms are not real unfortunately.

Pardon the old players included in this, but I think this change would’ve been a much more welcome one to many nostalgic Nuggets fans. Just replace the dark blue with the current Gold alternate.

Speaking of alternates, the Nuggets may be adding a couple to their jersey repertoire.

It looks like the Nuggets are adding a alternate that could be used as a home/road flex uniform. Then they are getting a “Pride” uniform that will be of the ever so unpopular short sleeved nature.

Then we have new NBA Christmas uniforms. You can see mock up’s of almost every team over at uni-watch, but here is what the Nuggets threads will look like Christmas day if they are scheduled to play.
