The 2018 CU football recruiting season is in full swing and the Buffs have been hosting visitors in Boulder seemingly everyday. Head coach Mike MacIntyre always says, “We just have to get them to Boulder,” and after a visit from three-star offensive lineman Frank Filip on Wednesday, he has given the Buffs his word just two days later.

The 6-foot-6, 275-pounder out of Houston, TX was a second-team all-district selection during his junior year at Clear Lake High School. Offensive line coach Klayton Adams said on Twitter that, “The Buffs just got Bigger, Stronger and more PHYSICAL,” with the addition of Fillip.
Fillip also held offers from Baylor, Harvard, Louisiana Tech, Houston, Oregon State, Rice, Texas State, Tulane, Tulsa, Yale and Central Arkansas.
The big man from Texas wants to major in electrical engineering at CU and takes academics very seriously, which explains the offers from Harvard and Yale.
