DNVR Rugby Podcast: SlamBall with Vince Boumann

Colton starts the show with “The Breakdown” presented by First Bank by talking about some American Raptors playing abroad, and a season timeline. After “The Breakdown”, Colton is joined by former Colorado XO and current professional basketball player Vince Boumann to talk about how his rugby experience led him to an opportunity to compete in the revamped SlamBall competition. Following the interview presented by O’Neills, Colton closes the show with a giveaway in “The Loop” presented by Physio Pro.

Vince Boumann was the only true basketball crossover that was a part of the original Colorado XO class that was assembled during spring 2021. Before making the leap to rugby, Boumann played basketball in Germany for Gladiators Trier during the 2018-2019 season. He spent his most recent season with Venados de Mazatlan of the Pacific Coast Basketball Circuit in Mexico. After finishing his most recent season, Boumann joined Ozone of the revamped SlamBall competition and credits his rugby experience as a big part of the reason why he earned his most recent opportunity.
