Frank McKinney is the first and only coach to lead the men’s rugby program at Queens University of Charlotte since taking the job four seasons ago. He led the Royals to the school’s first-ever Division-II National Championship with a 74-8 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2019 and became the only African American head coach in history to win a collegiate rugby national championship.
