DNVR Rugby Podcast: Colorado XO Scrum-Half Malik Bryant

Colton jumps into the show with ‘The Breakdown’ by talking about the sad news out of New Orleans that Gold player Shawn Riley passed away. Colton then touches on some updates regarding the Seattle Seawolves front office, the latest news regarding the San Diego Legion, the Colorado XOs officially being announced, a former Raptor getting ready for his second professional MMA fight, and all of the rugby you can watch this weekend (0:00-18:08). Following ‘The Breakdown’, Colton talks to Colorado XO scrum-half Malik Bryant about discovering rugby, his experience in Colorado so far, and who has caught his eye up to this point (18:09-38:37). After catching up with Malik, Colton assigns some XO-related ‘Required Reading’ and closes the show with ‘The Loop’ (38:38-42:55).

Malik Bryant is from Sarasota, Florida, and played football and rugby at Florida International University. Bryant attended the RugbyTown Crossover Academy’s November Camp where he received an offer to be a part of the Colorado XOs for the 2021 season.
