Colton begins the show off with “The Breakdown” by talking a little bit about the XO’s 71-5 win over SoFlo Rugby Football Club last Friday, what the XOs are up to this weekend, and talks about some of the action from Major League Rugby’s second round before wrapping up with all of the rugby you can watch this weekend (0:00-11:43). After “The Breakdown”, Colton checks in with Colorado XO scrum-half Brady Daniel about his wrestling and football career at Arizona State, how he decided to return to rugby, and how he’s liking the transition from flanker to scrum-half (11:45-1:02:32). After the interview, Colton gives everyone the week off from “Required Reading” and closes the show with “The Loop” (1:02:34-1:04:26).

Brady Daniel wrestled for two years at Arizona State before giving football a try. He walked on to the Sun Devils football team as a fullback/tight end hybrid after leaving the wrestling team. Unfortunately for Daniel, his roster spot on the ASU football roster was a casualty of COVID-19, and he began dropping into touch rugby with his brother, Corey, who is a flanker for Old Glory D.C. A three-sport athlete in football, wrestling, and rugby in high school, Daniel has returned to rugby as a member of the XOs.
