Colton jumps into the show with ‘The Breakdown’ by talking about the Colorado XOs’ last match, when you can expect to see full XO matches, some MLR news, and all of the rugby you can watch this weekend (0:00-18:47). After ‘The Breakdown’, Colton catches up with Colorado XO No. 8 Casey McDermott-Vai about his time at TCU, his Seattle Seahawks mini-camp, and how much he’s enjoyed getting back into rugby. (18:49-39:36). After catching up with Casey, Colton assigns some ‘Required Reading’ and closes the show with ‘The Loop’ (39:38-41:07).

Casey McDermott-Vai played all over the field for the TCU Horned Frogs football team during his college days. He spent time on the offensive and defensive lines while also filling in at tight end and fullback. That versatility earned him a spot at the Seattle Seahawks rookie mini-camp, and also caught the eye of the Colorado XOs. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, McDermott-Vai has found his way back to the pitch and returned to his rugby roots as the Colorado XO No. 8.
