DNVR Rugby Podcast: American Raptors Lock Will Crawford

Colton begins the show with “The Breakdown” presented by First Bank by talking about the Raptors’ first Super Rugby Americas win over Selknam, some players that impressed, and All of the Rugby You Can Watch this weekend presented by Wintergreen (0:00-6:09). After “The Breakdown”, Colton talks with American Raptors forward Will Crawford about the win, the team’s mindset after a tough start to the season, and what some of the differences that he sees between Super Rugby Americas and Major League Rugby (6:11-25:51). Following the interview presented by O’Neills, Colton assigns some “Required Reading” presented by Maria Empanda, and closes the show with “The Loop” presented by Physio Pro (24:08-26:36).

Will Crawford has played in every match for the American Raptors in 2023. He spent the previous two seasons with the Houston SaberCats, playing 14 matches in total in 2021 and 2022. Before playing in the MLR, he played his collegiate rugby at Arkansas and Louisiana Tech.
