Lucas Gramlick spent the last five years of his life as an offensive lineman for the UCLA Bruins. He appeared in 19 games for the Bruins over the course of his last two seasons before he discovered rugby as his football career concluded. After playing three rugby matches for UCLA’s B-Side over the last five weeks of the season, Gramlick was hooked. He made the decision to join the American Raptors and pursue rugby full-time in May.
