Colton kicks off the show with “The Breakdown” presented by O’Neills by talking about some of the latest American Raptors news, COVID canceling some MLR preseason matches, and all of the rugby you can watch this weekend (0:00-10:40). Following “The Breakdown”, Colton talks with former American Raptor and current Dallas Jackals prop Tommy Madaras about his football career, joining the Raptors, and his path to the Jackals (10:42-26:54). Following the interview with Tommy, Colton assigns some “Required Listening” and closes the show with a tease for next week’s episode in “The Loop” (26:56-29:37).

Tommy Madaras joined the American Raptors in May 2021 after playing in several different professional football leagues throughout the United States. Having played rugby at Marquette University, Madaras was offered a chance to sign a developmental contract with the Dallas Jackals ahead of 2021, but that fell through when the Jackals withdrew from the 2021 season. He jumped at the opportunity to get back into rugby by joining the Raptors and will be making the jump to the MLR as he has signed with the Jackals for the 2022 season.
