Justin Michael dives into CSU’s matchup with New Mexico. Throughout the episode, Justin explains why he feels good about CSU’s chances of coming away with victory, but why Ram fans should go into the game cautiously. He talks about the history between the two schools and how it could play a factor. Finally, Justin plays audio from his interview with Jordan Kress on transferring to CSU, the brotherhood in the wide receiver room, and his return to Albuquerque.

Justin is a Colorado State alumnus and has covered the Rams for DNVR since 2019. Prior to coming to DNVR, Justin was the founder of RamsReport.com and the Sports Director for the Rocky Mountain Collegian. From 2013-15 he was an intern for CSU Football.

  • Hi y’all! I’m wondering if you take comments here but regardless I’ll post a question. Have you had any discussion about the coaching staff’s clock management? i.e. snapping the ball in the 4th with 20+ seconds on the clock consistently

    • I can dive more into this on the podcast but it’s definitely intentional. Steve Addazio actually wants them to play even faster, as he believes tempo puts defenses at a disadvantage. Now I will say it’s a little weird to go tempo when you’re up big. The counter is just that you don’t want to let up and let an opponent back in it.
