  • I spent the last 4 years in portland. I don’t know about the rest of the world, but Stotts is VERY overrated there. As is the whole team tbh, my friends were calling for the 2 seed at the start of the season..

    • My take on Stotts is that he’s a very good coach but not elite. He’s not one of the five best coaches in the NBA, but he’s top-10 or just outside of it. The ability to forge a relationship with your star player and get buy-in from your roster is one of qualities you absolutely need as a coach these days, and Stotts definitely has that.
