Not gonna lie, boys… However unlikely it is, I’m now hoping for the Broncos to trade for Sean Payton as head coach, along with being purchased by an ownership group involving Peyton Manning, just to see how confusing it would get for the Denver media to talk day-in and day-out about a Peyton/Paton/Payton leadership core. I guess you’d all have to refer to them as Manning, George, and Sean? Or Owner Peyton, GM Paton, and Coach Payton? Sounds like it has the potential to be a new Abbot & Costello skit! ?

Fellas I think Hackett being allowed to leave has to mean that if the Broncos can’t bag Quinn, then they’d prefer O’Connell to Hackett.
Connecting some dots – if they do land on K’OC I could see Kirk Cousins being a second option if they don’t land Aaron Rodgers. O’Connell worked with him in Washington, and Paton did so in Minny.

As a Broncos fan living in Chicago I’m definitely on board for a color scheme that’s less like the bears. I’ve tired of explaining that I don’t know the score because my game doesn’t start until 3:00. I’m not even wearing a Trevathan jersey.
On another topic, I definitely want Smyth in on the coaching decision. Anybody who can convince me that Keenum, Flacco and Bridgewater can take this team to the playoffs should be in charge of convincing our next coach to join the broncos! He has some kind of mind control and we should use it!

My dudes. It is truly insane the amount of people I see on Twitter that don’t want Rodgers both from a performance standpoint and from a political standpoint. Did they have cucumbers over their eyes during Manning’s time here??? Change of scenery can do a lot. Personally I don’t give a damn about what he eats for breakfast, I want a super bowl. If this was the NBA (Kyrie Irving) it’s a different conversation, but it’s not. Keep up the good work and mail me a chicken sandwich please and thank you

To clarify on my earlier comment: I mean that to say it is not as though Rodgers has Deshaun Watson type allegations against him. While I am vaccinated, if the NFL doesn’t give a **** if the players are vaccinated then who am I to say I don’t want him on my team. Go sports!
