At just 23 years old, Pat Surtain II has already established himself as one of the best, if not the best, cornerbacks in the entire NFL. Is Surtain better than Sauce Gardner of the New York Jets? Is Surtain II one of the best defensive players in the NFL already? Where does Surtain rank among the top players under 25 years old? Is he better and more valuable than Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons? Is there anything that Surtain can do to become the best defensive player in the NFL?

On the DNVR Broncos Podcast, Zac Stevens, Ryan Koenigsberg and Henry Chisholm are coming to you LIVE from the DNVR Bar to break down all of the latest news in Broncos Country.

Zac Stevens was born and raised in Denver, went to the University of Denver and now covers the Denver Broncos. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from DU in 2014, Zac worked for the Cleveland Browns as a remote scout. He then jumped straight into the journalism industry at the beginning of 2016 covering the reigning world-champion Broncos and joined DNVR soon after. Catch him on Twitter @ZacStevensDNVR and daily on the DNVR Broncos podcast as the co-host.

  1. Having Sauce ranked over Pat is the perfect example of how big market media can sway even the sports world. The holding alone should DQ Sauce from being ranked above Pat.

  2. Zac? Sunscreen everyday? Even if you are just going to sit next to Klis at Dove Valley and then to the office? Please tell me you are using high end stuff. Sunscreen has some wicked chemicals in it. I’m worries about you.

    The Count

  3. Fellas,

Will three ring circus ever come back? Is that what you guys called it when you would bring a listener on the show on Fridays during 2020? I think that would be a lovely addition to the off-season content.

PS I can’t wait to see what the local radio station will have to say about the Broncos not having logos on helmets.

  4. Fellas! After Denver didn’t listen to me about adding a UGA player onto the roster, whether via FA or the draft, we now have another chance to do so! Legendary Georgia kicker Rodrigo ‘Hot Rod’ Blankenship is currently a free agent and I believe definitely deserves another shot in the NFL after being cut by the Colts last season. Remember that a UGA player has played in the Superbowl for 22 straight seasons so statistically just adding Rodrigo to the roster helps the Broncos’ chances this year. What do yall think?

  5. Booo, no 0 for JL.

If YOU were choosing a jersey number, what would be your first choice and reserve choice? Mine would be 24 and 80.

Thanks for the pods this week. Excellent work as always!

All the best from the UK.
