Do you guys think Bolles’s regression in the current year could be so to teddy and how he holds the ball a lot longer?

I’m glad we can finally stop talking about Spencer Rattler, but let’s please not start with Desmond Ritter. I haven’t watched him until this year but from what I’ve seen, I would comp him to Philip Rivers. Does he have skill? Sure, but he doesn’t seem to be the guy that can excite and elevate his team. From what I’ve seen, Cincinnati’s defense keeping them in games is the only reason anybody is talking about him. I’m much more high on a Matt Corral but I don’t think we’ll be bad enough to get him. #QBin2023

I hear there’s this guy living in Denver who is an offensive genius, he was a QB for 2 different teams, has Fangio or Shurmur ever thought to ask for some help?

Truth be told, I don’t HATE the idea of a bend-don’t-break defense. I don’t love it, but the idea of it makes sense. The problem is, you can’t call this defense a bend-don’t-break defense because they break like a 1-ply tissue during flu (or COVID) season. They’ve been burnt on long plays and bad penalties multiple times this season (looking at you Kyle Fuller). You can’t play bend-don’t-break defense if you’re going to keep breaking. We gotta try something else. This defense is too talented to continue to waste it.

On another, happier note, my wife and I are pumped to visit Denver when Philly comes to town in November! It’ll be my first NFL game where I won’t be cheering for the enemy team and I’ll be surrounded by my own team’s fans! Going to visit the bar and get our tailgate/party bus tickets as well. Can’t wait to get over to Denver from St. Louis! Keep on rolling guys, just know we appreciate everything you guys do!

so with kj’s injury probably lingering into most of next season and tim patrick presumably not being on the team next year, how much of an investment do you think they should make at receiver next year?

i’m getting flashbacks to last season when the cornerback room was decimated by injuries and paton ended up overinvesting in corners by bringing in two reasonably paid free agents and drafting two guys- one of them with a very premium draft pick. it’s a similar situation this year where they’re expecting guys off the street (john brown) to play a role in the offense.

with all that in mind, do you guys think it’s a pressing need in the draft? and if it is, would you consider it a day 1 need, a day 2 need or something they’ve done for the past few years- which also hasn’t paid off- and just take a flier on a guy at the end of day 3? what do y’all think?

My Boys! Fun fact of the day, outside of the two minute drill the Broncos ran the ball on every single first down in the first half against the steelers, Against a team that has a good defense, especially when it comes to knowing when you’re passing that just seems like a plan to fail. But what do I know. As far as the Raiders gameplan this week, would it be wise of them to give control of the offense this week solely to Derek Carr? I feel like this would cause the least amount of disruption where Gruden called the plays primarily and give the Offensive Coordinator another week to prepare his stuff.

My boys! Back home this week after a disappointing weekend in Pittsburgh – honestly one of the most frustrating games I’ve seen live. I feel like the Broncos beat themselves with bad penalties. Looking forward to bouncing back this weekend. Will be watching from my couch this week, but will be on the road for the game in Cleveland next week! I agree with what you guys were saying earlier in the week about drafting a QB. I’m a little biased, but I was *slightly* upset when we didn’t take Justin Fields. Crazy stat that the only QB that the Broncos have drafted that has won a playoff game was Tim Tebow… Anyways, always enjoy the coverage and I wish I was on the Party Bus and Tailgate this weekend, it was definitely an experience I won’t forget. I am tired of this team and their lame ass excuses. I have zero patience in a sports world filled with entertaining product. Jazz basketball starts in 6 days, and from that point on the Broncos will be an after thought unless some coaching changes are made and some players are traded for draft capital by the deadline. I would rather watch a bad team with a plan then a talented roster with troglodytes for coaches and front office personal. I love this team and I just hate being left behind. It feels like with no actual owners the fans have been left behind.

I was hoping a report would come out that Fangio didn’t fly home with the team. Instead Bronco’s PR tells us he went to a ranch in upstate New York where he will live out his days running and playing and chasing retired linebackers. The same place my parents sent my dog and gold fish when I was seven. Then in ten years the true story comes out that the team veterinarian who takes care of Thunder just put him down and out of his misery. Guess we won’t be so lucky this week. SMH

Okay 4th times the charm!

Shurmur is who we thought we was. It’s frustrating to see a team loaded with talent flounder around so disengaged.

I’m with RK in the fact that I want a young head coach, or at least someone who doesn’t coach like they’re absolutely terrified of unorthodox strategies or run away at the first thought of creativity on offense.
