Thanks for a great season fellas! Yes, the Broncos were a disappointing team, but they’re MY disappointing team. I’m in WV but hope to join you all for a cold Breck brew at the DNVR bar next fall! Let’s go Broncos!

More and more I’m starting to think that if we can’t land Russ or Rodgers in the off-season that Drew Lock will be our starter next year. We’ll go and get a QB in the draft and Drew Lock will start while the rookie develops and the front office will hope Drew plays well so we can trade him when our drafted QB is ready to start. Why would we spend 10 million dollars for Andy Dalton or Tyrod Taylor when we have a cost controlled, in house bridge quarterback?

I think a strong plan B is Lock competing with a draft pick for the job. Bring in a new OC and have them compete for the job.

Plan to go back to the draft in ‘23 to get the real future quarterback but be pleasantly surprised if it works out.

I have never been happier that your predictions were wrong. Goodbye Fangio.

I’m ready for a new owner and a new coaching staff. Bring on the offseason and big changes! Bring on the pop tart conversations!

To start the offseason, here’s a question. Who was the better head coach: Vic Fangio or Wade Philips? I mean yeah Phillips didn’t last as long but failure was a lot less tolerated back then.

Thanks, guys, for AWESOME coverage this season! Wish we had more to cover playoff wise, but this will be a HUGE offseason for us and look forward to awesome coverage of that as well as the DNVR Fam sticks together.

My question for the day is has the NFL looked at modifying the way draft order is set? the current system is not great for Fans. I have watched the last 2 games wanting to win and wanting to lose. that is kind of weird.

I think a more sensible way to do it (although it would not have benefited us this year) would be lock in the records after all teams’ complete byes. then follow the same system. pull out the playoff teams and stack by records that were locked with 3-4 games to go. Losses don’t improve your pick and wins down the stretch don’t hurt. In fact, the opposite happens because ties are broken by winning percentage. Thoughts?
