Did the Avalanche do enough to fill their needs to make another deep playoff run?

AJ: I like everything they did and my only quibble would be with what they didn't do. The Brandon Duhaime deal makes a lot more sense in light of the season-ending surgery for Logan O'Connor and I think he will be a solid replacement for LOC, although not as good offensively. In future terms, Duhaime is a pending UFA this summer and this could be a good audition to replace Andrew Cogliano/Zach Parise next year in Colorado's bottom six (if Cogliano follows Parise's lead and retires).
