Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos are looking for the team’s next franchise quarterback after releasing Russell Wilson.

With NFL free agency beginning, are the Denver Broncos locked in on Sam Darnold, Jameis Winston, Jacoby Brissett or Jimmy Garoppolo? Or could the Denver Broncos trade with the New York Jets for Zach Wilson or the Washington Commanders for Sam Howell?

If Sean Payton does either move, does this mean the team won’t go after a quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft? Or would Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy, Washington’s Michael Penix Jr, Oregon’s Bo Nix or UNC’s Drake Maye still be on the board?
