Nikola Jokic poured in another memorable game in the Denver Nuggets 140-112 win over the Indiana Pacers Thursday in London.

Jokic finished with 22 points, ten rebounds, and seven assists, three assists short of his first career triple-double. Already this season, Jokic has come within three rebounds or assists of the feat three separate times.

Somehow, Jokic didn’t record his first assist of the game until he lofted this beauty to Kenneth Faried with 5:41 left in the second quarter.

After the game, Michael Malone commented on Jokic’s play.

“In my opinion, I think he had more than seven assists,” Malone said. “I think he probably had a triple-double.”

To the tape we go.

Jokic officially had seven assists on the night, but upon further review, that number should have been eight. This gorgeous full-court heave to Gary Harris was credited to Wilson Chandler. This ups Jokic’s total to eight.

Two more assists, depending on how lenient the scorekeeper was feeling, could have gone to Jokic as well.

Did Jokic get shorted on his first career triple-double? You be the judge. It only seems like a matter of time until the 21-year-old records his first of many.
