The Nuggets makeover continues.
After slightly tweaking the typography and color scheme on their uniforms, unveiling a completely new and modern court design and re-furbashing their locker room, the Nuggets announced the long-rumored white sleeved jersey will in fact be worn by the team this season.
The design is called “WHITEGOLD” and is the Nuggets official “pride” jersey for the upcoming season, a category of uniform a select number of teams will be sporting this season.
The alternate uniform will be worn during six home games this season and will occur over two separate “WHITEGOLD” takeover weeks when Denver has three home games in a row.
For a sleeved jersey these aren’t terrible. There have been much, much worse ideas thrown out there by NBA teams and actually worn on the court. If anything, it represents another sign that the Nuggets are moving away from the light blue era and moving back towards a darker shade.
Check out the new uniform below. The “WHITEGOLD” jerseys are available to be purchased for $281 here.
