The Denver Nuggets have announced they will hold a private workout for first-round lottery prospect Willie Cauley-Stein on Monday morning.
This comes at a somewhat fortuitous time considering BSN’s next Draft or Pass piece, scheduled to drop Monday afternoon, features none other than Cauley-Stein.
The Nuggets’ first private workout of the month, held on Saturday, was centered around Stanley Johnson. Other notable prospects in the group workout included Devin Booker, Sam Dekker and Jerian Grant.
In other news, ESPN.com’s Marc Stein is reporting former Sacramento Kings coach Mike Malone will receive a follow-up interview with the Nuggets while Mike D’Antoni could be involved in ongoing talks as well:

I would expect similar for Mike D’Antoni and, of course, Nuggets interim coach Melvin Hunt remains firmly in the mix to keep job full-time — Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) June 7, 2015
Finally, international basketball reporter David Pick had this to say regarding Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets’ 41st pick in the 2014 NBA Draft who had a breakout season in Europe last year:
Nikola Jokic, named MVP in Serbia a half-dozen times this season, has intensions to join the Denver Nuggets.
