Yesterday, the Denver Broncos made a roster move to help bolster their secondary.
With T.J. Ward expected to be out this week due to a high, left ankle sprain, the Broncos re-signed safety Josh Bush, waived tight end Richard Gordon and released tight end Arthur Lynch from the practice squad.
Bush was elevated to the active roster late in the 2014 season, seeing action in two games including stealing an interception against the Oakland Raiders. This year, he played in three games on special teams before being waived in October to make room for tackle Tyler Polumbus.
On Tuesday, tight end Dan Light was added to the practice squad to take Lynch’s place. Light was on the roster until Sept. 1, when he was part of the team’s cuts to get down to 75 players.
And that wasn’t all the news out of Dove Valley; according to Adam Caplan and Dan Hatman, Denver worked out a total of 16 players in advance of the reserve/future signings which will come at the end of the regular season.

Renner was in training camp with the team in 2014 and Lobato has been worked out by the team multiple times before. Denver also signed Christian Ponder on Nov. 25 and have rookie Trevor Siemian on the roster as well.
Currently, Brock Osweiler is running the Broncos offense as the starting quarterback and he’ll retain that position until Peyton Manning is healthy.
