Denver Broncos' week six practice report: Siemian to start

The Denver Broncos will travel to sunny San Diego to face the Chargers in their second Thursday night game of the year—with opening day starter Trevor Siemain back at the helm.

Siemian has officially been placed back into his starting role for the 6:25 MST start after not playing last week in Denver’s only loss of the season at home to Atlanta.

Both Virgil Green and Donald Stephenson were full participants at practice all week and are expected to start the game. The latter will return to his usual spot at right tackle after being replaced with Ty Sambrailo, whose play against the Falcons was less than stellar.

Veteran linebacker DeMarcus Ware will miss his third straight game while recovering from a broken forearm, which is not surprising to players and coaches; Ware could be out as many as three more weeks. Look for second-year lineman Shane Ray to continue to excel is Ware’s absence.
