The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms on a two-year deal with defensive end Jared Crick, the team announced on Wednesday afternoon.
Crick is a four-year veteran out of the University of Nebraska, he has played his entire career in Houston to this point.
A fourth-round pick in 2012 by then Texans head coach Gary Kubiak, Crick is familiar with the Broncos system, having played with defensive coordinator Wade Phillips and defensive line coach Bill Kollar on top of Kubiak.
The end from Albuquerque, NM started 32 games in his career with Houston. In 2014, his first season as a starter, Crick tallied 56 tackles, including 3.5 sacks, last season he tailed off a bit with 48 tackles and two sacks.
The 6-foot-4, 285-pounder comes in to bolster a Broncos end corps that saw Malik Jackson’s 45 tackles and five sacks pack up for Jacksonville.
