With the 92nd overall pick in the third round the Denver Broncos have selected Ohio State tight end Jeff Heuerman. Heuerman is a big target at 6’5″ and 254 lbs, and should be a good pass catching prospect who already has a plethora of experience as a blocker.

Huerman was graded as a fourth to fifth round pick and ran a 4.8 40 yard dash at the combine. Huerman started every game for the Buckeyes in 2013 and 2014, earning him second team all Big-10 honors in 2014.

Production fell off in 2014 due to a foot injury he was dealing with along with a quarterback change. He is a vertical pass catching tight end that has perfected the craft of run and pass blocking and he can play on the line or in the slot.
