Denver Broncos safety T.J. Ward played full speed, played physical, and left it all out on the field on Sunday. It’s the only way he knows how to play. The Pro Bowl safety racked up 12 tackles against the Colts, his highest number of the season. After the game was over, Ward took to Twitter to vent about a questionable call and he even directly attached the NFL’s official account.
@nfl when did this become a penalty?! I must play too hard! Maybe I just gotta go lower! #bossup… https://t.co/HnokoXmTa0

The intimidating safety also posted a shot of the play that was called illegal on his Instagram page, and he is exactly right, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the hit. Ward said, “Maybe I just gotta go lower!” I’m not sure NFL receivers would enjoy that option either.
TJ Ward is currently ranked the number one run stopping safety in the NFL by Pro Football Focus and most consider this to be a banner year for the veteran. It’s the physicality that makes this Broncos defense so good and if the NFL tries to take that away, it could hurt the Broncos post season chances dramatically.
Ward finished off his rant with this.
So when i start flipping these wide outs and tight ends Ima be dirty. ?

It’s safe to say that the Broncos safety and his teammates will have a chip on their shoulders when the Chiefs come to town next week.
