TMZ has obtained a video of Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe throwing a punch in a Denver nightclub.
The incident took place on Saturday night at VIE nightclub on Larimer St. in Downtown Denver. According to TMZ, Wolfe was provoked when he was struck with a glass bottle. No charges were filed and the police were not called but it isn’t clear what consequences Wolfe will face regarding the NFL’s conduct policy.
Wolfe could still face a fine or suspension from the league.
Broncos Safety T.J. Ward received a suspension for the first game of the 2015 season for a similar incident at a Denver club where all charges were later dropped.
Wolfe signed a four-year $36.7 million dollar contract extension with the Broncos at the end of the 2015 season where he helped man a defensive front on one of the greatest defenses in NFL history.
