Extra, extra, read all about it!
Hot off the presses, there’s a new Sports Illustrated and it features a Denver Broncos player; Brock Osweiler.
Osweiler is a hot name right now, not just in the Mile High City, but across the Rocky Mountain region and beyond, it seems. The 25-year old has opened the eyes of football fans across the country, especially after leading a 30-24 overtime comeback victory over the previously undefeated New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football.
In relief of the injured future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, Osweiler is now 2-0, going 43-69 (62.3 percent) for 520 yards with three touchdowns and one interception in those starts. Meanwhile, the Broncos improved to 9-2 on the season, are in a three-game lead over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West and now hold the tie-breaker over New England if the teams were to have tied records at the end of the regular season.
The region which will have the Osweiler covers available includes Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
Still, even with all the fanfare surrounding Osweiler and some saying he should start the rest of the season, others are saying head coach Gary Kubiak should be the one getting all the credit for Denver beating the Patriots.
Either way, it’s an exciting time to be a Broncos fan. Go get your copy today!
