The USC Trojans and Colorado Buffaloes will battle it out under The Flatirons on Saturday and Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders has scheduled multiple blue-chip recruits to descend on Boulder for the matchup. Not only will this weekend be another huge recruiting weekend for Coach Prime and Colorado, but it is going to be the place to be for multiple celebrities as well.
Five-star wide receivers Ryan Wingo and Cam Coleman were also originally scheduled to visit CU this weekend but both have rescheduled to visit later this year. Below is a list of recruits who have all publicly confirmed they will be in Boulder on Saturday.
2025 five-star WR, Winston Watkins Jr.
Watkins is the 55th overall player and the 9th-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 class. He is listed at 5-foot-10 and 172 pounds. He committed to Colorado on December 4th, 2022 and was the first player to commit to Colorado after Coach Prime was hired at CU. He recently transferred out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL to First Baptist Academy in Naples, FL to be closer to family. He is the cousin of long-time NFL receiver Sammy Watkins and former UAB and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Austin Watkins.
2024 four-star WR, Nick Marsh
Marsh is the 127th overall player and 20th-ranked receiver in the 2024 class. He is listed at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds. He committed to Michigan State on July 7th and also plays basketball and is a sprinter on River Rouge High School’s track team. Colorado just offered Marsh on September 18th.
2025 four-star WR, Marcus Harris
Harris is the 40th overall player and the 7th-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 class. He is listed at 5-foot-11.5 and 180 pounds. He is from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA. He also competes in track and field.
2025 four-star WR, Taz Williams Jr.
Williams is the 218th overall player and the 28th-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 class. He is listed at 6-foot and 181 pounds.
2024 three-star IOL, Gage Ginther
Ginther is the 525th overall player and 33-ranked interior offensive lineman in the 2024 class. He is listed at 6-foot-5.5 and 287 pounds. Ginther committed to Tennessee on April 8th and plays for Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, CO.
2024 three-star EDGE, Jordan Ochoa
Ochoa is the 1812th overall player and the 115th-ranked EDGE in the 2024 class. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds. He committed to Wyoming on April 29th and posted a tweet earlier this week stating his intention to decommit from Wyoming but has since deleted the tweet. He is from Castle View High School in Castle Rock, CO.
2025 three-star LB, Mantrez Walker
Walker is the 386th overall player and 37th-ranked linebacker in the 2025 class. He is listed at 6-foot and 215 pounds. He committed to Michigan on February 11th but recently decommitted from the Wolverines on September 11th.
2024 three-star OL, Lincoln Fa’apouli Jr.
Fa’apouli is the 185th-ranked interior offensive lineman and 21st overall recruit from the state of Colorado in the 2024 class. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 295 pounds. Fa’apouli is from Fountain-Fort Carson High School in Fountain, CO.
2024 three-star IOL, Kael Weatherby
Weatherby is the 195th overall interior offensive lineman and the 23rd-ranked recruit from the state of Colorado in the 2024 class. He is listed at 6-foot-3 and 270 pounds and is from Eaglecrest High School in Aurora, CO.
2024 RB/CB, Xavier Ramirez
Ramirez is a 5-foot-10 and 180-pound athlete from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, CO.
2024 EDGE/ATH, Jermaine Amaya
Amaya is a 6-foot, 190-pound defensive lineman from Eaglecrest High School in Aurora, CO.
2025 WR, Travis Smith Jr.
Smith is a 6-foot-4, 191-pound wide receiver from Westlake High School in Atlanta, GA.
2025 RB/MLB, Caden Absher
Absher is a 5-foot-11 and 180-pound recruit from Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, CO.
2025 OL, Nate Ceschin
Ceschin is a 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman from Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, CO.
2026 OT, Breck Kolojay
Kolojay is a 2026 offensive tackle for IMG Academy. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds. He is from Colorado.
2026 WR, Kayden Dixon-Wyatt
Dixon-Wyatt is a 6-foot-2 and 180-pound wide receiver from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, CA.
2026 OL, Deacon Schmitt
Schmitt is a 6-foot-4, 265-pound offensive lineman from Windsor High School in Windsor, CO.
2026 OL/DL, John Stephens
Stephens is a 6-foot-4.5 and 235-pound offensive and defensive lineman from Windsor High School in Windsor, CO.
2028 OL/DL, Nicholas McChesney
Nicholas McChesney is the son of Colorado Buffaloes legend, Matt McChesney.
