Buff Nation is gearing up for another electric home game at Folsom Field and this week’s victim is the Colorado State Rams. While Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders and the Buffs are preparing for Saturday’s Rocky Mountain Showdown, Coach Prime will be hosting several recruits including some of the best recruits in the 2024 and 2025 class.
Below is a list of recruits who have publicly confirmed they will be in Boulder this weekend. All rankings are according to 247 Sports Composite rankings.
2025 five-star QB, Bryce Underwood
Underwood is a 6-foot-3.5, 205-pound quarterback from Belleville High School in Belleville, MI. He is the top overall recruit in the 2025 recruiting class.
In 2021, Underwood won MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year honors after producing 2888 passing yards, 39 touchdowns, six rushing touchdowns and only four interceptions while leading Belleview to a 13-1 record and the Michigan Divison 1 state title. He followed that up by winning MaxPreps National Sophomore Player of the Year in 2022 with 2762 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, 632 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. Underwood led Belleview to their first-ever undefeated season and won the Michigan Divison 1 state title for the second straight season in 2022.
2025 five-star WR, Dallas Wilson
Wilson committed to Oregon on January 17th and is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound wide receiver from Tampa Bay Tech in Tampa, FL. He is the 24th overall player and the fifth-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class.
In 2022, Wilson had 875 receiving yards on 40 receptions for 12 touchdowns.
2024 four-star ATH, Boo Carter
Carter committed to Tennessee over Colorado and Michigan on June 17th. Carter already visited Boulder twice back in January and April but will be returning to CU for a third visit this weekend.
The Tennessee commit is a 5-foot-10, 184-pound RB/WR/DB from Bradley Central High School in Cleveland, TN. He is the 226th overall player and the 17th-ranked athlete in the 2024 recruiting class.
2024 four-star OL, Jordan Seaton
Seaton is a 6-foot-5, 287-pound offensive lineman from IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL but calls Washington, DC home. He is the 39th overall player and the top-ranked interior offensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting class.
Seaton plays left tackle at IMG Academy but has the frame to play guard or tackle in college.
2024 four-star DL, Jeremiah Beaman
Beaman committed to Alabama on May 21st and is a 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive lineman from Parker High School in Birmingham, AL. The Alabama commit is the 65th overall player and ninth-ranked defensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting class.
He also competes in shot put and discus for his track and field team.
2024 four-star ATH, Aaron Butler
Butler committed to Colorado on May 16th and is a 6-foot, 170-pound WR/CB from Calabasas High School in Calabasas, CA. He is the 88th overall player and fifth-ranked athlete in the 2024 recruiting class.
Butler has gotten off to a fantastic start in his final season of high school football and has a legitimate chance of earning a five-star rating.
2024 three-star QB, Danny O’Neil
O’Neil committed to Colorado on March 21st and is a 6-foot, 185-pound quarterback from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, IN. He is the 638th overall player and 41st-ranked quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class.
Through three games in Cathedral’s 2023 season, O’Neil has amassed 705 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions on 60% completion.
2024 three-star OL, Talan Chandler
Chandler committed to Colorado on February 3rd and is a 6-foot-3.5, 292-pound interior offensive lineman from Nevada High School in Nevada, MO. He is the 1001st overall player and the 74th-ranked interior offensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting class.
Chandler has had a great start to his 2023 season for Nevada High School playing both ways and has already proved to be one of Colorado’s best at recruiting fellow recruits to Boulder.
2024 three-star WR, Zycarl Lewis
Lewis committed to Colorado on June 11th and is a 5-foot-10 and 160-pound wide receiver from Venice High School in Venice, FL. He is the 563rd overall player and the 78th-ranked wide receiver in the 2024 recruiting class.
Lewis officially visited Colorado prior to his June 11th commitment with 2024 five-star cornerback and Florida State commit Charles Lester III.
2025 three-star WR, Adrian Walker Jr.
Walker posted a tweet earlier this week announcing he will be at CU this weekend but has since deleted said tweet.
Walker is a 5-foot-10, 180-pound wide receiver and is Bryce Underwood’s teammate at Belleville High School in Belleville, MI.
He is the 77th-ranked wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class.
2024 RB, Jazari Spencer
Spencer is a 6-foot-3, 175-pound running back and linebacker from Harrison High School in Colorado Springs, CO.
Spencer was invited to Folsom Field for last week’s dominating win over Nebraska as well.
2024 ATH, CJ Reese
Reese is a 6-foot-3 and 195-pound wide receiver and defensive back from ThunderRidge High School in Littleton, CO.
He attended last weekend’s beatdown of Nebraska also.
2024 LB/ATH, Teyton “Tot” Chandler
Chandler is a 6-foot-1, 200-pound linebacker and running back from Victory Christian High School in Tulsa, OK.
2025 ATH, JT Taggart
Taggart is a 6-foot-5, 220-pound athlete from Calvert Hall College High School in Baltimore, MD. He is the son of Baltimore Ravens running backs coach Willie Taggart and brother of FAU quarterback Willie Taggart Jr.
2025 S, Byron Baldwin
Baldwin is a 6-foot, 175-pound safety from Calvert Hall College High School in Baltimore, MD.
2025 QB, Marcus Mozer
Mozer is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound wide receiver and safety from Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, CO.
2025 WR, Jeremiah Hoffman
Hoffman is a 6-foot-1 and 175-pound wide receiver from Severance High School in Severance, CO. He holds six state track records in the 200-meter dash, long jump, high jump, triple jump, 4×1 relay and 4×2 relay.
He visited for last weekend’s triumph over Nebraska.
2026 QB, DJ Bordeaux
Bordeaux is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound quarterback from Alpharetta High School in Alpharetta, GA.
2028 OL/DL, Nicholas McChesney
Nicholas McChesney is the son of Colorado Buffaloes legend, Matt McChesney.
