Danilo Gallinari reflects on his “breakup” with the Nuggets

After spending six-plus seasons in Denver, Gallinari and the Nuggets moved on from each other. When the free agency period opened in July, the Nuggets made a splash by signing Paul Millsap to a three-year deal worth $90 million. Gallinari responded by inking a three-year, $65 million with the Clippers. Just like that, the relationship between the Nuggets and of the best players in franchise history was over.
