Craig Watts Jr., a four-star defensive back out of St, Petersburg, Florida, has re-opened his recruitment after having been verbally committed to the University of Colorado since September. Watts visited this past fall and quickly committed right after his official visit. The 5-foot-10, 181-pound corner was the highest rated prospect in CU’s 2016 class.

Perhaps one of the best signs for the Buffs was that he had chosen Colorado despite having offers from Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Wisconsin and almost everybody else in the country.
Watts was the Buffs prime get from the south and the short-lived Florida Trio, which also features Johnny Huntley and Anthony Julmisse, will likely never suit up together at Folsom Field.
