Every three weeks or so we have been heading up to CU’s campus to take photos of Colorado’s progressing facilities project, and since we last checked in, when steelwork was just beginning on the indoor practice facility, it feels like the project has taken a big step forward.

IPF
As you can see here, the steel work is coming along nicely. I think you are now starting to get an idea of how huge this thing is really going to be, as you think about a structure of this size spanning well over 100 yards.
Champions Center
The outside of the Champions Center looks very close to completion, with almost all of the stone work completed and windows starting to go in. A lot of people were worried about the way all of this would for in with the stadium, especially as the corner seating stuck out like a sore thumb last year, but it really all is starting to fit in very well. Folks that haven’t been up on campus since last season are going to be very pleasantly surprised when they return.
Buff Walk
There has been a lot of talk this week about the “Buff Walk” as CU launched their brick campaign, asking fans to help pave the walk with customizable bricks that double as donations to the “Drive for 105” or the fundraising campaign for the facilities and “sustainable excellence,” these photos are to help fans get a better idea of where their potential bricks would be going. The Buff Walk will span all the way from Colorado Blvd. where these photos were taken, down to Boulder Creek.
