BOULDER – Less than a month after his arrest and subsequent suspension from the football team, Colorado Buffaloes sophomore cornerback Anthony Julmisse, who has already been suspended indefinitely, has been arrested again. This latest news comes according to Adam Munsterteiger of Scout.com.

According to the Boulder Count Police Department’s website, Julmisse was charged over the weekend with robbery, first-degree trespassing, criminal mischief and careless driving. All of these charges allegedly stem from an incident involving a car accident.

Julmisse, a projected starter for the 2017 season, was arrested in July and charged with domestic violence, assault, and harassment and suspended indefinitely from all team activities. This most recent arrest could leave his status with the Buffs even more uncertain.

Last month, head coach Mike MacIntyre said,  “Anthony has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities and we will determine any further disciplinary action after receiving more information… I am very troubled by these allegations, as they do not represent the values of our university and our football program. I have reported the allegations to the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance so that it may conduct any appropriate inquiries.”

The university’s spokesperson, Ryan Huff, said in a statement on Monday night, “Anthony Julmisse remains on indefinite team suspension from his previous arrest in July. While we’re still gathering information about this latest case, we are concerned to hear of these allegations. It’s important to note that in any criminal case involving a student-athlete, there are three separate processes that can result in discipline – a determination by the coach, court sentencing and sanctions from the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution.”

Julmisse was listed atop the most recent depth chart at the corner position heading into Fall Camp. Now, a handful of defensive backs are competing for that role across from veteran Isaiah Oliver. Julmisse had a hand in every phase of the game as a freshman, lining up on offense, defense, and special teams. He was expected to be a big contributor during his second season.
