Butler stands at 6-foot-5 and 205 points, playing for Hill College in Lamar Hillsboro, Texas the last two years. The sophomore will make the move to Division I and Fort Collins in 2016, becoming immediately eligible to play.
In 2014-15, he averaged 10.8 points and 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game as Hill went 32-4. He also made 37.5 percent of 3-point attempts last year, proving he has range. This season, through five games, the guard is averaging 12 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest.
