CSU Men's Basketball notes: Jan. 16 tip-off change, more

Tomorrow, your 9-6, 1-1 MW Colorado Sate Rams men’s basketball team takes on the 5-10, 0-3 MW San Jose State Spartans in California (3 p.m. MT tip).

And today brings some important notes for those hoping to attend the next two home games.

First, the Wednesday, Jan. 13 game against the San Diego State Aztecs (8 p.m. MT tip) is now part of a ticket deal. For only $20, fans can purchase a ticket and it comes with a limited edition rally towel and a limited edition T-shirt. Fans interested in purchasing the “Student for a game” package can click here.

Next, the Sunday, Jan. 16 game against Utah State has been moved up to a 2 p.m. MT tip-off. That game was originally scheduled for 8 p.m. MT but has been moved up to accommodate the game’s broadcast on ESPN3. Saturday’s game is a “white out” so make sure to wear white to Moby Arena!

On Wednesday night, Colorado State was able to defeat UNLV 66-65 in a successful comeback thanks to freshman J.D. Paige’s furious scoring and John Gillon’s free throw make. For the Rams, it could be just the momentum swing they’ve been looking for.
