Colorado State Rams football is hot on the recruiting trail, landing two new players over the last two days.
On Monday, Elijah Leyva out of Pomona High School in Arvada, Colorado announced his commitment.

Leyva is an outside linebacker/defensive end prospect who stands at 6-foot-2 and 238 pounds. He possesses solid speed, clocked at a 4.70 40-yard dash according to his HUDL page.
His first three highlights from his senior tape are sensational. Leyva runs over an offensive tackle for a sack, then he stunts inside for a sack, and on the third play he’s partially blocked but never gives up on the play, attacking the quarterback with ferocity to force a fumble.

Then, on Tuesday, running back Darius May announced his commitment to Colorado State and head coach Mike Bobo.

May is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound back who’s also played free safety. He hails from New Orleans, Louisiana and will look to bolster the Rams backfield immediately. Running out of the I formation, May shows solid speed and an ability to go north-south. He’s not looking to dance around and hesitate, May hits the line of scrimmage with a full head of steam, allowing him to break big runs to the house. He also looks to understand the importance of patience. On delayed handoffs, he waits until the right moment to take off toward the line with speed, letting a hole open and then take off through it.
