Colorado Rockies outfield prospect and current member of the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes, Jordan Patterson, was named to the Pacific Coast League All-Star team today.

The six-foot-five Patterson, who also spends some time at first base, has sizzled through his first 59 games in Triple-A, slashing .328/.437/.487 which is good for a 151 wRC+. The number that stands out the most there is his on-base percentage which is indicative of an incredibly disciplined player the likes of which has been rare throughout Rockies history. The 2013 fourth round pick is the 19th ranked prospect in the Rockies system according to MLB.com. In 2015 he was among baseball’s elite prospects as he played in the Arizona Fall League. That capped a stellar 2015 season that saw him advance through High-A Modesto and Double-A New Britain. The left-handed hitting outfielder is a prime candidate for September Call Ups. He has also been a stand-out defensively showcasing one of the best arms in the system, of not the best.

The game will take place at the Charlotte Knights’ BB&T Ballpark Wednesday, July 13 at 7 p.m. EST and will be televised on MLB Network.

BSN Denver profiled Patterson back in May.
