In 2015, Kahnle threw 33.1 innings for the Rockies with a 0-1 record and a 4.48 ERA. He spent some time in Triple-A too and you can read more about his season here.
As for Almonte, he was drafted in the 17th round by the Los Angeles Angels in 2012. He got an overslot $250,000 signing bonus. Baseball America ranked him as the 16th best prospect in the LAA organization after the 2012 season. He was also on some team-specific prospect lists before being traded to the White Sox as a player to be named later for Gordon Beckham.
“Showtime” works in low 90’s with his fastball and he has a solid slider coming from a 3/4 slot. His season this year was split between High-A and Single-A where he threw 137.1 innings with an 11-7 record and a 3.41 ERA.
I want to say thank you to the @whitesox for everything this season. I appreciate it all. Now to continue my career with the @Rockies
