Blackmon hit .400 with three homers and 12 DBI over the past week. His torrid stretch over the past six weeks has seen him just get hotter and hotter with each passing week as his name is now firmly in the NL MVP race.
On the year Blackmon is batting .329 with an OPS of .989. He leads the league in triples with seven, RBI with 46, and has amounted 11 doubles and 13 long balls.
Blackmon was an All-Star in 2014 and should be a shoe-in this season.
