Last season when Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, and Paul Millsap all had to miss tiem due to injuries, Will Barton stepped into a co-star role alongside Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets didn’t skip a beat. But Barton never stepped on the court during the actual season for the Nuggets inside of the Orlando bubble and playoffs and is listed as doubtful for Denver’s first preseason game on Saturday. Is he healthy? Will he be by the start of the season? And if not, can he find ways to make a positive impact at less than full strength? Or should the Nuggets hold him out until he is fully ready to return?
