Bbads by a landslide in the all-name draft. It was an aca-ass kicking IMO. Also, I think USC had the best options to choose from so far.
As for the Stanford game, we absolutely got Stanforded. If we don’t give up the TD on 3rd and 18, I think we stay in that game for longer, and we probably end up losing more like the spread would have indicated, but we absolutely played the game the way Stanford wanted to play it. Boring, ball control, run it down your throats offense that we absolutely could not stop when it mattered most.
I don’t see USC doing that, so maybe if our defense can get off the field on some third downs, I give us a chance to win. Take some shots down the field with Shay and Spruce, and maybe we stay in the game long enough to do something in the 4th quarter. I really hope the guys aren’t discouraged after last week, because there’s still a lot of season left to play. We can still right the ship this year with a win Friday.
