Fans don’t show for a cold kickoff. Especially at 8pm. CU has exceeded crowd expectations for the year. No other team has 100% capacity avg with only one winning season this decade. I’d predict an official count of 46k Sat

As for basketball, some people think the glory days of Coors should be back already. Those packed and loud games followed 3 straight tournament bids. Keep taking care of business and fans will show.

Agreed. When I went 2009-2013 those last two years were the wildest and loudest which included a Pac 12 tourney win (albeit not in Coors). I do think the FB+MBB programs will build off each other for the next few years.

I would not want to see Montez for another year. Has he been the most talented QB that the Buffs have seen in over a decade? Yes. But we also know he’s limited. He makes mistakes a 5th year senior should not make. He will go under appreciated for how good he truly was, but you have keep searching for the next great QB.
Personally, I want Brendan Lewis to be QB1 from snap 1 next year. If for some reason there is an all world QB sitting in the transfer portal then yea maybe you go get him (but odds are there won’t be).
If the Buffs want Lewis to be “The Guy” then let him be the guy. Don’t coddle him, don’t hold him back, let him play. I think game experience is way more valuable than him sitting back and learning the offense for two years. What if they change coordinators? If your offense gets changed, why good does it do for Lewis to have sat there for two years?
Let Lewis lead the new regime with Rice and Clayton and let the team grow.
