Henry, I read an article from Tucson Daily Star and when Colorado would score, they were literally telling Kalil Tate, “Don’t worry about it. Everyone on the field is open.” And that was before Onu got hurt. That’s crazy.
That’s why you switch and play man. Take the thinking out of it for the young players. And if Tate runs, fine. Maybe you’ll finally get to hit him for a change, because he wasn’t getting touched standing in a 5 yard halo all day.
Hey, I keep hearing about how Oregon State and UCLA is in that bottom tier of teams in the conference. We need to take OSU out of that tier. Those kids can play and I’m glad CU doesn’t have to deal with them this year. They lost to Stanford, but they’re way more explosive.. it’s UCLA all alone in the cellar.

Regarding Montez running, if you watch his first against Oregon in 2016, he can run. Whether the coaches are telling him not to risk injury or if he’s lost it is up for debate. If he wants to make a bowl, he will likely need some clutch runs.
